1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using the CAPS Armory mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. APP PURPOSE

The CAPS Armory App is provided exclusively for customers of CAPS Armory LLC, a California-licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL #9-95-037-07-5F-02368). The App provides:

DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) transaction status tracking
Appointment scheduling for store services
AI-powered legal information assistant
Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) digital storage

The App does not facilitate, enable, or process firearm sales or transfers.

4. DROS TRACKING DISCLAIMER

DROS tracking information displayed in the App is for informational purposes only. Official DROS status is determined by the California Department of Justice (CA DOJ). While we strive for accuracy, CAPS Armory LLC is not responsible for discrepancies between App-displayed status and official DOJ records.

5. AI LEGAL ASSISTANT DISCLAIMER

The AI Legal Assistant feature provides general information about California firearms law for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. For specific legal questions, consult a licensed attorney. CAPS Armory LLC is not liable for any actions taken based on information provided by the AI assistant.

6. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
You may delete your account at any time through the App (Profile → Delete Account).

7. PROHIBITED USE

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App to misrepresent your identity or transaction status

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by CAPS Armory LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

CAPS Armory LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (which is $0, as the App is free).

10. MODIFICATIONS

CAPS Armory LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
